The company Treble-light was created in Germany in 1994 by Ruediger Clausen, to become recognised as one of the most innovative underwater lighting company worldwide.
The name was chosen after creating the first lamp: TL5 which special feature was to have 3 halogen bulbs bundled in a lamp head, and it became the symbol and logo of the company.
In 1995 TREBLE-LIGHT introduced the first gas-discharge lamp in underwater lighting, simultaneously to the introduction of this new HID technology in the automobile industry.
TREBLE-LIGHT manufactures a wide range of extremely robust lamps with the most advanced technology using halogen or HID bulbs from 10 to 100 watts, as well as tanks with umbilical head-lights. That is why TREBLE-LIGHT units are so versatile and adaptable, and they fit the most demanding diver’s needs, and are perfect for video-filming or simply enjoy the underwater world.
The HID technology in our lamps means a very powerful and bright light output. The aprox. 4200 K colour temperature brings very natural views and the far reaching beam penetrates through the darkest depths or murky areas.
The whole manufacturing process for all TREBLE-LIGHT lamps, as well as the rigorous tests they go through before reaching customers, is carried in Germany under the supervision of the company creator himself.
All components and electronics (except for some special ballasts) are developed and manufactured in a 300m ² production plant in Germany, where even the housings are produced by cutting cylinders from a block of solid aluminium with their own CNC machining center.
There are 2 series of DIVING LAMPS: Silverline and Blackline, the later one adding some more technically advanced features such as 5 steps LED tank charge display.
The ABOVE- WATER range of lamps has been specifically designed for and in cooperation with members of professional and security sectors, for whom extreme reliability and efficiency, with the highest light output are a basic requirement, especially under adverse conditions as in sea or fire rescue missions.
TREBLE-LIGHT lamps are the perfect tool for those who wish the optimal light source tool for their yacht, speedboat or to practice caving, pot holeing, or other dark (night) activities.
